Programs & Fees

Seedlings Program (30 months – 5 years old)

This program will be for children between 30 months – 5 years old. Hazelwood will provide the nature based environment needed for children to succeed in learning through Reggio philosophy. Children in this program will be expected to be potty trained.

*Limit of children under 36 months as per Fraser health Regulations.

School Age Program - Before & After School Care ( Kindergarten to Grade 5)

This program will be for children who are in need of Out of School Care for Kindergarten to Grade 5. Hazelwood will provide the nature based environment needed for children to succeed in learning through Reggio philosophy.

We currently service both Hazel Trembath and Castle Park Elementary Schools.

Registration and Tuition Fees

A $50 non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of registration. We will also require 50% of the full month fee as Security Deposit to secure the spot that is returned upon proper notice of cancellation which is one full month’s notice. This fee can also be put towards the last months of tuition.

To secure a spot for your child, registration forms must be submitted along with all the above fee and deposits.

Child Care Affordable Benefit

Families may be eligible for subsidy from the BC government. Please check the website for your eligibility:

Parents on Child Care Affordable Benefit are expected to pay full tuition until the approval of the Affordable Benefit. Parents are responsible for the entire parent portion (remaining portion) of the tuition.

Child Care Fee Reduction

Hazelwood is enrolled in the BC Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative.

**Drop-in fees apply when:

$40.00 - a school age child requires childcare for the full day (between 7:15 am – 5:30 pm). This includes Pro-d days, Winter break, March break.
$65.00 – a school age child who attends part-time requires childcare on a day for which they normally do not attend.
$65.00 – a school age child requires childcare for a full day (between 7:15 am – 5:30 pm) on a day for which they normally do not attend. This includes: Pro-d days, Winter break, March Break and Summer Camp.
$65.00 - a Seedling child requires childcare outside of the regular days he / she normally attends.
